Any applicable additional charges will be disclosed during the sales process where required.

Where an obvious pricing error occurs, Motoriffic reserves the right to correct the error before the transaction is finalised, subject to applicable consumer law.

6. Vehicle Condition

Motoriffic sells pre-owned vehicles.

Used vehicles may show reasonable signs of previous use, including cosmetic wear, stone chips, minor marks, interior wear or other age-related imperfections.

We aim to provide customers with accurate information regarding a vehicle’s known condition.

Customers are encouraged to:

• Inspect the vehicle before purchase
• Test drive the vehicle where permitted
• Ask questions regarding the vehicle’s condition

Where an independent inspection is requested, this may be arranged subject to agreement between the parties.

7. Vehicle History

Where legally required, material information known to Motoriffic will be disclosed to the customer.

8. Finance Applications

Motoriffic may assist customers with applications for vehicle finance.

Finance is subject to:

• Credit approval
• Affordability assessments
• Verification requirements
• Applicable credit-provider criteria
• Applicable South African law

Submitting a finance application does not guarantee approval.

Motoriffic does not control the final finance decision made by a bank, finance house or registered credit provider.

Interest rates, repayment periods, deposits, fees and other finance terms will be determined by the relevant credit provider.

Customers should carefully review all finance documentation before signing.

9. Accuracy of Information Provided by Customers

When submitting a finance application, vehicle enquiry, valuation request or other form, you confirm that the information supplied is true, complete and accurate.

Providing false or misleading information may result in:

• Rejection of an application
• Cancellation of a transaction
• Withdrawal of an offer
• Referral to the appropriate authorities where necessary

You are responsible for ensuring that your contact and personal information remains accurate.

10. Deposits and Vehicle Reservations

Where Motoriffic agrees to reserve a vehicle, a deposit may be required.

The specific terms relating to the deposit, including whether it is refundable, will be communicated before payment is made.

A vehicle is not considered reserved until Motoriffic confirms the reservation.

Reservation periods may be limited.

If the customer does not complete the transaction within the agreed period, Motoriffic may release the vehicle for sale, subject to applicable law and any written agreement between the parties.

11. Trade-Ins

Trade-in valuations are subject to inspection and verification.

An initial valuation provided electronically, telephonically or based on photographs is not necessarily a final offer.

The final trade-in value may depend on:

• Physical condition
• Mechanical condition
• Mileage
• Service history
• Ownership records
• Accident history
• Outstanding finance
• Vehicle specification
• Market conditions

Motoriffic reserves the right to amend or withdraw a trade-in offer if the vehicle differs materially from the information initially provided.

12. Selling Your Vehicle to Motoriffic

Where Motoriffic purchases a vehicle from a customer, the transaction may be subject to:

• Proof of ownership
• Identity verification
• Vehicle inspection
• Finance settlement confirmation
• Verification of vehicle documentation
• Confirmation that the vehicle is not stolen or subject to legal restrictions

Payment terms will be confirmed as part of the transaction.

13. Test Drives

Test drives may be subject to:

• Presentation of a valid driver’s licence

• Staff availability
• Vehicle availability
• Motoriffic’s insurance conditions

Motoriffic reserves the right to refuse a test drive where reasonable grounds exist.

Customers remain responsible for complying with road traffic laws while driving a Motoriffic vehicle.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to unlawfully limit or exclude any rights that cannot legally be waived.

15. Third-Party Products and Services

Motoriffic may make third-party products or services available, including:

Where this applies, the customer’s relationship with the third-party provider will be governed by that provider’s own terms and conditions.

16. Online Enquiries

Submitting a website form, WhatsApp enquiry, finance enquiry or other online communication does not create a binding vehicle-sale agreement.

A binding transaction will only arise once the relevant sale, finance or other documentation has been completed and accepted by the necessary parties.
